Beverly Hills

Garden paths and architecture beyond Rodeo Drive

Beverly Hills is a separate city within Los Angeles County, between West Hollywood and the Westside. Its compact shopping streets make an easy introduction, but gardens and historic architecture give a visit more variety than a drive past private homes.

Start on foot around the shopping district

Explore Rodeo Drive and the surrounding streets, then continue toward Beverly Gardens Park for a public-space break. Window-shopping can be part of the experience without making purchases the focus. Private residences are not visitor attractions; stay on public streets and respect residents.

Give Greystone its own stop

Greystone Mansion & Gardens is a city-owned historic estate. The park grounds and mansion interior have different visiting arrangements: interior access is tied to scheduled programs. Check the city’s calendar before planning around a tour, and consult its accessibility information for this hillside property.

MAKE IT YOUR JOURNEY

Plan your visit

A half-day is a useful starting point for the central streets and one garden or cultural visit. Greystone is a separate uphill journey rather than the next shop along Rodeo Drive. Choose one nearby part of Los Angeles for the rest of the day, allowing for traffic and parking. Check attraction calendars rather than assuming all buildings are open daily.
