The canyon’s scale unfolds slowly as light moves across the rock. Give your group time at a small number of overlooks, then add a rim walk or visitor-center stop instead of rushing from one photo stop to another.

Choose your rim and check its current access. Distances between rims are long; heat, elevation and exposed edges require thoughtful planning.
Allow time for the approach, interpretation and breaks. Check the specific facilities and walking surfaces your guests need.
